NOTE: LINK IS UNCLEAR. NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE A “CLICK HERE” LINK AND NO INFORMATION OF WHERE IT LINKS TO. INCORPORATED IT TO LINK TO A PAGE ON THE SAME BLOG. THINK THIS MAKES SENSE, BUT IF YOU REQUIRE ANY CHANGES LET ME KNOW.
There is no better way to document your travels than by writing a blog about it. Sure, you can just post a few images to social media, but if you want a truly rewarding experience, then you should go the whole hog.
You don’t need much to create a blog these days, you could even do it from your smartphone because all blogging platforms now have apps that you can use to create and upload your posts.
Ideally though, you would need a laptop to allow for ease of file transfer and a good platform to type on.
Before you plan your visit, you should click here and check out our blog post on some of the more interesting parts of Perth and Kinross which you might want to visit. Perth in particular is a beautiful city and you can more or less just wander around and explore. It is quite compact, so you could literally just leave your laptop in your hotel room and then just jot down a few notes on what you have seen. These days, it is sometimes easier to just snap photos on your smart phone and jot down a memo note. You can also just snap photographs of information stands or placards to avoid having to take down notes. One your busy day of travelling around on foot is over, you can just sit down with your laptop and work away in the comfort of one of the city’s pubs.
If you are out in the country, then you might want to consider taking a robust digital camera with you. It is not a good idea to take all your tech gear with you because the Scottish weather can catch you off guard and soak you. Just enjoy your trip and then compile your copy and add photos later.
